Dynamics CRM add/remove sample data

In Dynamics CRM it’s very easy to add remove sample data for example Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities etc. Sample data helps you to see that how the data is organized in CRM system. You can also use it for training purpose. Once you’re done playing with simple data you can remove it easily. Let’s see that how we can add/remove sample data!

Note that you must have the System Administrator security role or equivalent permissions in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to perform these activities!

Go to Settings >> Data Management

Click Sample data

If the Sample Data is already installed you will see below screen:

You can remove Sample Data by clicking Remove Sample Data.

Or if Sample Data in not installed or removed then you will see this screen.

Click on Install Sample Data to install sample data.
